Director of US Advertising Operations

We are looking for an Advertising Operations Director to lead the US commercial operations, reporting to UK-based, Head of Commercial Operations.

As part of the role you will impact the company’s day-to-day commercial activity and, at the same time play an essential part in the development of the Company’s new initiatives. You will utilize your technical knowledge and take responsibility for troubleshooting, further developing the Company’s digital advertising operations functions across desktop, mobile and video.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 years + Digital ad operations experience; media owner or network
  • Understanding video and display ad serving and buying ecosystem is a must
  • Troubleshooting 3rd party publisher integrations; Video sub-syndication and its ad delivery mechanisms
  • Hands-on ad server experience (DoubleClick, Flashtalking, Sizmek etc.)
  • An excellent understanding of the advertising technology landscape
  • Strong working knowledge of demand-side and Sell-side platforms (OpenX, Index Exchange, MediaMath, RocketFuel, App Nexus, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of tag management solutions (GTM, Ensighten, Qubit, etc.)
  • Understanding of data feeds in particular XML feeds
  • Understanding of de-bugging and troubleshooting
  • Clear communications skills are essential and ability to address issues via the phone and email
  • Strong time management, good analytical and problem solving ability to adjust ever changing advertising needs of the partners

Some day-to-day:

  • Work with Direct and Demand team to ensure delivering of campaigns and managing them
  • Working closely with 3rd party publishers to service their needs: changing tags, reporting, troubleshooting, etc
  • Manage QA’ing of 3rd party tags, trouble shooting, other advertiser provided creative and reporting back
  • Communicating any issues with the relevant parties, so the external client expectations are managed properly
